Cyberbullying has emerged as a global social problem. And the prevalence of cyberbullying on social networking (SN) platforms has become a major concern for individuals, organizations, and society, so regulatory measures need to be constantly updated to help reduce the level of cyberbullying. Early identification and intervention of cyberbullying on social media is critical to mitigating its harmful effects. We believe they made the case for the importance of studying theory for understanding cyberbullying. This study describes various learning theories applicable to cyberbullying, including social learning, operant conditioning, the general learning model, etc., which have shown promising results in identifying cyberbullying on social media.
